ARA - RFP for Auditing Services

News Description:

The Austin Revitalization Authority (ARA) is currently seeking a qualified firm to provide auditing services for it and its affiliate, the Eleven East Corporation. ARA is a private, nonprofit, tax exempt 501(c)(3) community development corporation created as a mechanism to orchestrate the redevelopment of Central East Austin. The Eleven East Corporation is a 501(c)(2), tax exempt organization created to hold and manage two commercial buildings. The organizations have annual operating budgets of totaling $820K and $1.7M respectively and combined assets totaling $15.2M as of December 31, 2005. At any given time, the organization may have 2-4 construction projects underway that range in value from $200,000-$10,000,000. Copies of the RFP are available at ARA’s offices located at 1105 Navasota; Austin, TX 78702 and can be made available electronically (call 469-1705). There will be a mandatory pre-proposal meeting on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 1050 East 11th Street, Suite 150 at 10:00 am. The deadline for submission of proposals is 12:00 pm on Friday, March 23, 2007.
